Xiaomi is set to deliver its first electric vehicle, the SU7, starting in Beijing alongwith 28 other cities across China tomorrow (Wednesday, April 03, 2024).

Founder Lei Jun announced the upcoming ceremony at the EV factory in Beijing on Weibo.

The SU7 was officially launched on March 28, with customized deliveries for standard, Max, and Pro versions starting at the end of April and May.

A limited Founders Edition of 5,000 units will be delivered starting on April 3. Despite challenges, Xiaomi has made a strong entry into the competitive EV market in China, with the SU7 receiving a significant number of firm orders within minutes of accepting orders.
