On April 24, 2024, MINI has been already debuted their new MINI Aceman EV at the Beijing Auto Show. At their showcase the MINI electric crossover is based on the ‘Spotlight’ architecture created jointly by BMW and Great Wall, with the same platform expected to support future Mini EV models.
Some traditional Mini elements are retained in the design, such as short front and rear overhangs and flush door handles instead of chrome ones.
The battery capacity and drive range have yet to be revealed, but future Mini EVs are expected to have 40kWh and 50kWh battery packs offering a range of over 400km, a range that the Aceman is likely to achieve as well.
