CAMBIANO, 17 AUGUST, At Monterey Car Week, Automobili Pininfarina introduces the world’s inaugural pure-electric, open-top hyper Barchetta, the remarkable B95. A fusion of timeless elegance and cutting-edge technology, this masterpiece embodies automotive excellence with its captivating design and unparalleled performance.

Drawing inspiration from Pininfarina’s PURA design philosophy, the B95 embodies elegance and proportion, seamlessly blending classic race car influences with futuristic elements. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it represents the pinnacle of automotive artistry.


The B95 makes its grand debut at Monterey Car Week, sharing the stage with the Battista Edizione Nino Farina hyper GT and the PURA Vision design concept. This prestigious event serves as the perfect backdrop for showcasing the B95’s groundbreaking design and innovative features.

With only ten bespoke examples to be crafted, each B95 promises exclusivity and rarity. Production and deliveries are slated to commence in 2025, coinciding with the 95th anniversary of Pininfarina SpA, ensuring that each vehicle is meticulously curated to meet the unique preferences of its owner.


The B95’s striking silhouette is defined by full-width bodywork, accentuated by pronounced wheel arches and a high swage line, creating a muscular yet elegant appearance. Innovative features such as adjustable aero screens and bespoke helmets elevate the driving experience to new heights.

Powered by a state-of-the-art electric powertrain derived from the Battista hyper GT, the B95 delivers exhilarating performance with acceleration from 0-60mph in under 2 seconds and a top speed exceeding 300km/h. Its high-capacity 120 kWh lithium-ion battery, paired with four independent electric motors, ensures unrivaled power and agility on the road.


Five distinct drive modes, including Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa, and Carattere, allow drivers to customize power delivery and handling according to their preferences and driving conditions. A tactile, sporty rotary selector enables effortless mode selection, enhancing the driving dynamics of the B95.

Developed by Automobili Pininfarina’s team of engineering and manufacturing experts in Italy and Germany, the B95 showcases decades of expertise and innovation. Advanced technologies, pioneered at the Digital Innovation Hub in Munich, ensure uncompromising performance and reliability.

World’s first pure-electric, open top hyper Barchetta – the breathtaking new B95.

Automobili Pininfarina is based in operational headquarters in Munich, Germany, with a team of experienced automotive executives from luxury and premium car brands. Designed, engineered and produced by hand in Italy, the Battista hyper GT and all future models will be sold in all major global markets under the brand name Pininfarina.

The new company aims to be the most desired, sustainable luxury car brand in the world. The company is a 100 per cent Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd investment and has been named Automobili Pininfarina following the signing of a trademark licence agreement between Pininfarina S.p.A. and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Pininfarina S.p.A. has an influential role in supporting design and production capacities based on its unique 94-year experience of producing many of the world’s most iconic cars.

The Battista is the most powerful car ever designed and built in Italy and it delivers a level of performance that is unachievable today in any road-legal sports car featuring internal combustion engine technology. Faster than a current Formula 1 race car in its 0 -100 km/h sub-two second sprint, and with 1,900 hp and 2,340 Nm torque on tap, the Battista will combine extreme engineering and technology in a zero emissions package.

The Battista’s 120 kWh battery provides power to four electric motors – one at each wheel – with a combined WLTP range of up to 476 km (U.S. combined EPA: 300 miles) on a single charge. No more than 150 examples of Battista will be individually hand-crafted at the Pininfarina SpA atelier in Cambiano, Italy.
