Finally, in 2017, Ingenlath’s remarkable career reached new heights when he was appointed as the CEO of Polestar, a subsidiary of Volvo Cars where he was SVP of design. Considering Volvo’s status as a leading global automotive brand and trendsetter, along with their plan to cease production of gas-powered vehicles by 2025 and plans to have a line-up of five performance EVs (Polestar-02, 03, 04, 05 and 06) by 2026 , Mr. CEO will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric vehicles with The Polestar 0 project goal which truly climate-neutral production car by 2030.
